click through rate of 10.545% on payperpost

PayPerPost recently released some very interesting information about the click through rates on sponsored posts. They’ve compiled results on campaigns blogged by 40,000 posties, and 8,000 advertisers, and the average click through rate on those paid links was an astounding 10.545%! As someone who has done the banner ad thing, and ran my own advertisements on Google AdSense, I know that that is an extremely high CTR.

Not only is this CTR great for the advertisers using PayPerPost, but it’s great for the people blogging about the sites and products. My traffic has doubled, if not tripled on every blog I’m using PayPerPost on. I’m getting tons of search engine traffic for things that I’ve blogged about, both sponsored and not.

And oh yeah, I made almost $6,000 last month with my blogs. Not all from PayPerPost of course, but I know PayPerPost is indirectly responsible for a lot of that income!

I use PPP as a publisher. Yesterday I saw a post where an advertiser wrote about his experience. I don’t think he bought enough to be considered a test, but it was an interesting read. Care to share how many posts you paid for and the results (traffic)?

I believe Colleen is a publisher not an advertiser. I am not sure maybe she is using both.

Colleen how many blogs do you maintain to bring in that kind of income? Also how long have you worked on the blogs.

Thanks for the great post and congratulations on your amazing success! Oh and are you the same Colleen from simplelife or something similar to that?

I have advertised with PPP, but I use it 99% of the time as a publisher. And yes, I’m the same Colleen from SimpleKindOfLife.com
