july’s pagerank update

icon1 Posted by admin in Pagerank & SEO on 07 9th, 2007 | 4 responses

Google’s giving me a birthday present, and it’s coming 2 weeks early!

Yes, the PR update is happening. Now. Or so it seems, given that this live PR checker is showing fluctuations in pagerank. Typically, when you see those things, it means an update is in the works. When I put in the URL for my main blog, I come up with 18 datacenters showing a 5/10, and 2 showing a big fat zero. Same thing for this blog, except the 18 datacenters are showing a 4/10.

How long will it take? No clue, so don’t rejoice til it’s all said and done.

I have one that is unranked so far, I am hoping to at least get a PR1!

I have two DC’s that show zeros, but when I load that DC into my browser it times out, so I wondered if they are just down.

Is it # 18 and 14 showing you zeros also?

I’m not seeing any fluctuation on any of my sites at the moment. Just hoping Google will get rid of the greybar for new sites. That was a terrible thing for them to bring back because you don’t knowif your site is banned or is too new.

Regardless of the toolbar Pagerank, I have been seeing an intense change in SERPS recently which has been very positive for my sites.

That’s a very useful PR checker, thanks for the heads up
