North Georgia Fly Fishing Company Uses Fish Tracking System, Gains More Customers

icon1 Posted by admin in Technology on 01 23rd, 2009 | 4 responses

A fly fishing company that takes people up the Toccoa River fishing for trout, spotted trout, rainbow trout, striped trout or carpe will have an easier time if they use the latest technology and fishing gadgetry, which is sort of a GPS tracking system for fish.

While fly fishing is not an exact science and many people decide not to use the latest technology to help find the fish because they would rather use a ‘hit or miss’ style, the technology is available to help those diehard fisherman find and catch the type of fish they desire.

Helping people who are dead-set against technology find the perfect fishing spot or a school of fish in which to sink their line into have sometimes been quoted as saying “it’s like fishing in a barrel.” What they mean is fishing with the tracking system is like fishing in a stocked pond, you have no chance but to catch a fish.  (Some of the stock ponds owners even feed their fish HGH in order to bulk or fatten them up for customers.)

A fly fishing company that takes people on Toccoa River fishing tours could have a fish tracking system on their boats in order to help locate the best possible place for their customers to finish.  Fly fishing is still a difficult sport even if you’re standing in the middle of where the fish are because the fish are not there for very long.

In order to get more customers who are willing to use the latest technology and fish finding gadgetry, a fly fishing company should market their website through several Internet marketing techniques that will help bring in more targeted customers, which are customers who are looking for a great fly fishing experience.

A fly fishing company could write an article about their company and the latest fish finding gadgetry.  Then, in addition to placing this article on their website, they could participate in an article exchange with other north Georgia fly fishing companies as well as other websites that may be relevant to fly fishing.  Other websites like a fish technology website, boat sales websites or camping gear websites should each have a place for in article exchange with a fly fishing company.  Article exchanges will bring in more people who are interested in the latest fishing technology.

Technology only brings people forward and will help a fly fishing company bring more customers into their website and ultimately to their real-world brick-and-mortar location.

Fly fishing is supposed to be more of a ‘hit and miss’ sort of stuff. That is what makes ‘fly fishing’ more fun than any other related fishing activity.
I guess, some of the fly fishing companies would prefer to use the latest technology to track down the fish than leave anything to chance. Personally, I think that if you take ‘chance’ out of the equation, fly fishing becomes dull, but hey, that’s just my view. I am sure that techono applications of this kind are doing wonders to the fishing industry.

i think while its a useful and natural extension of tech..we have to strike a delicate balance without depleting existing fish stocks too.
