Seasonal Items Find a Space at St. Pete Self Storage Facility

St. Pete self storage facilityPeople use a St. Pete self storage facility for many different reasons; some people use a storage facility for seasonal items such as Christmas trees and large outdoor declarations along with winter sports equipment like skis, hockey equipment and sleds.  Others use a self storage unit as a place to store precious memories like their children’s school papers, photographs and photo albums or things that have been passed down from generations that have sentimental meaning but cannot find a permanent place in the home and the owners would not dream of throwing them out.

Other individuals use a self storage unit to store sports equipment because depending on the season, they may not need or be able to use certain items and if they are in a lot of sports, they have a lot of gear.  Hunters only use guns and bows in the fall and winter; cyclists will use their Greenline bikes during the warm weather months; hockey players usually only play in the winter months and water skiers with their jet skis and boogie boards need a place for these items during the cold weather months.

Storage facilities work well for businesses, both small and large, to store extra inventory or machinery they may not be using at the present time.  For example, a small work-at-home business in which a person sells makeup, candles or seasonal crafts could use a St. Pete self storage unit to keep their inventory clean and organized, in addition to being able to deduct the amount paid for the self storage unit from their taxes as a business expense.  Another example of a business using a self storage unit might be a movie theater that has an extra popcorn machine they use for spare parts to fix the two they use all the time but have nowhere to store it at the theater.  Again, the movie theater could take the amount they pay for the self storage unit as a tax deduction on their business taxes.
